Gain the skills to work in the heavy mechanical trades, including potential employment as a heavy duty mechanic, commercial transport mechanic, diesel engine mechanic or transport trailer technician. Students will participate in a work placement, that will introduce students to real workplace environments, as well as provide perspectives to industry standards and expectations.

This program provides intensive, hands-on, real-life training in the operation of heavy equipment, delivered by experienced instructors who will work with you one-on-one to help you succeed. The heavy machine operator training also covers routine maintenance of machinery, and the practical field operations of excavating, land clearing, grading and road building.

The associate of arts in geography provides a strong foundation and introduction to human geography and will prepare you for future employment in teaching, tourism, urban planning, or further studies.
