Geophysics - Bachelor

Geophysics is an interdisciplinary physical science of the planets and their environments, in particular the Earth. Geophysics applies the knowledge and techniques of physics, mathematics, and chemistry to understand planetary structure, dynamic behaviour, and evolution through time.

Geomatics Engineering Technology - Diploma

Students in this program acquire a solid background in applied math, physics, cartography, photogrammetry, plane surveying, geodetic surveying and computer applications. Practical skills include field surveying, GPS and total station data collection and analysis together with computer assisted digital mapping using aerial photography and laser scan data. Prospective students should have a genuine interest in mathematics, computers and earth sciences and enjoy working in both field and office environments.

Geology - Associate Degree

Also known as Earth Science, Geology is the study of the history, materials and processes of our planet, including volcanic eruptions, landslides, earthquakes and floods. Geologists can help guide the safe and stable development of new structures and communities, and are able to locate minerals, natural gas, oil and other things that we use in our everyday lives.
