Students will develop the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely and effectively using a variety of welding processes and procedures.
This foundation program prepares learners for entry level positions as apprentice welders in most sectors of the economy including manufacturing, construction, transportation, resource extraction and resource development. Learners engage in a variety of classroom and shop activities where they learn both theoretical principles of welding and hands-on processes to master practical welding skills.
Conforming to industry standards, practices and procedures, the competency-based Welder Foundation program provides you with the skills you'll need to prosper in today's job market.

This program is designed to prepare students for careers related to the protection and management of Canada’s fisheries, wildlife, and parks resources. Students are assisting various natural resource law enforcement agencies in monitoring illegal activities within the central Vancouver Island area.
We focus on the management skills, rather than a policy orientation, with an emphasis on strategic planning, financial management, leadership, communication and negotiation. You will have the knowledge, skills and abilities you’ll need to enter the public administration field as a beginning practitioner.
Develop critical skills in public administration and governance including building relationships with diverse stakeholders and community groups. Through applied learning, you will experience different perspectives and objectives to consider issues in new and creative ways.
